There is A LOT to do in Legoland. Highlights –
L-drivers; this gives a chance for children aged 3-5 to drive around a circuit for the first time. My daughter really enjoyed this.
There is also a Driving School for ages 6-13. This gets a lot of queues so head there quickly!
Fire Academy – Show teamwork with your child by powering a lego engine and putting out a ‘burning’ building.
Dragon’s apprentice – this is quite a fast ride for little ones, but my daughter (who was 3 then) thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fairy Tale Brook – I have to admit this was one of my favourites. You see a lot of fairy tale characters come to life through the boat ride. A cool adventure.
Duplo Valley Theatre – You can enjoy classic fairy tales with modern comedic twists. Showtimes are written outside the theatre so you can plan your day.
Duplo Valley Airport – this is a fun ride for children where a spinning propeller takes you up and down, but also giving you some time to take in the view.
Splash Safari – coming on a hot day, bring your kids swim wear as there are a few water play areas in the Duplo Valley section.
Skeleton Bay Pirate Stunt Show – we caught a glimpse of the stunt show at Heartlake City – it looked pretty good. But, due to the number of people in front of us, it was hard to get a view. If you’re interested in the stunt show, find out timings and get there early.
Atlantis Submarine Voyage – this should not be missed. We were pretty excited about this underwater ride. It’s quite slow so little ones should be fine on it. You see some sharks along the way, and the audio takes you through a nice adventure!
Miniland – it’s worth going through here to see the world’s iconic landmarks – a good place for selfies ☺.
There are many more rides at Legoland, but I have highlighted the few we have done, and what we enjoyed with little children.
We also bought Q-Bot regular passes which are £25 per person. I would ONLY recommend this if you are heading to Legoland in peak hours, as waiting times can be at least 1 hour. With little children, having the Q-Bot regular was handy as it reduced down waiting time significantly. You basically reserve your ride time and choose from 21 attractions.
Many food items do ‘Buy One Ticket, Get One Free’ for Legoland, so keep these handy ☺
Prices and timings may vary.
